Mote in God's Eye is a demo album by Ivan Doroschuk. It was recorded prior to No Hats Beyond This Point, and was intended to be Ivan's second solo album. The songs were demoed around the year 2000,[citation needed] but the songs would soon be abandoned, except "How Does it Feel?". The album was meant to be recorded and released the same year.[citation needed]

Unofficial releases[edit]

On November 1, 2010, YouTube user Karialec[1] began releasing tracks from these sessions, accompanied by a statement that "Ivan has given his blessing in allowing these great songs to be shared with his many fans."[2] The first of these was a demo of "How Does it Feel?", a song which would later appear on No Hats Beyond This Point.[2]

Another user, MenWOHats,[3] uploaded two more demos that came from the same sessions.[4][5]

Additional material[edit]

Another song recorded in the same sessions was a cover of "Tomorrow", from the 1982 movie Annie.[6]
