Mouhssine Ennaimi is a French award-winning journalist specialised in short and long documentaries. He is also author, writer and photographer..[1]

Early 2005 Mouhssine Ennaimi moved to Colombo, Sri Lanka as RFI and Radio France correspondent. He lived in South Asia from 2005 until 2012. He also collaborated with Libération and Le Temps newspapers as well as for various TV channels (Capa Press TV). Mouhssine Ennaimi is the author of "The strength to say No" (Child Marriage in India)[2] and Slumboy (Life of Slumdog millionaire hero in Mumbai slums)[3]

He has also contributed on several documentaries

In 2017, Mouhssine Ennaimi was awarded ASBU Outstanding Documentary Production in Dubai for a film in Northern Syria (Jarablus).

In 2007, He contributed to the film “Muttur, a crime against humanitarian”, Albert Londres Prize (highest French journalism award)

Currently, he is a director-producer based in Istanbul, Turkey

Biography[edit]

Mouhssine Ennaimi started his professional career as a computer engineer (1997-2003). He later pivoted to journalism in 2004.

He became correspondent for french public network in Sri Lanka, Colombo as a correspondent for Radio France, RFI and Capa Press.  He covered post-tsunami stories and the Tamil separatists war.

In 2007, Mouhssine Ennaimi became the regional South Asia correspondent based in Mumbai, India. The scope of his stories includes Bangladesh, India, Nepal and Sri Lanka until 2011.

In 2011, Mouhssine Ennaimi moved to Jerusalem to cover Israel and Palestine. His features includes the Gaza war (Nov 2012) and the Gilad Shalit prisoner exchange (2011). He also directed a documentary on the Gaza youth. Since then, he regularly directed and produced 26-minute documentaries.

Since 2015, Mouhssine Ennaimi is a director and producer based in Istanbul, Turkey. He has won the Outstanding Documentary Production[4] - Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU) in Dubai 2017 for "Jarablus rising from its ashes" (Northern Syria).
