Mr Musichead Gallery is a Los Angeles art and photography gallery and performance space in Los Angeles, California[1]. It is owned and curated by Steven A. "Sam" Milgrom.

A native of Detroit, Michigan, Milgrom moved to Los Angeles in 1996 and founded the gallery in 1998. Prior to that, he  worked in music retail as the owner of Sam's Jams records, an independent record store in Ferndale, Michigan and as concert promoter at the Magic Bag Theater, a multimedia performance space he opened and operated until 1995[2].The gallery was originally located in a 200 square foot space on Melrose Avenue, eventually moving to to its current location on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood, across the street from the Guitar Center and walking distance from Sam Ash Music.

The gallery specializes in music photography and art, album cover art, and artworks by famous musicians. Among the more than 60 artists the gallery has showcased[2] are respected photographers Neil Zlozower,[3] Ethan Russell,[4] Baron Wolman[5], Lisa S. Johnson[6], Storm Thorgerson. Major exhibits include Brian Duffy's ""A Lad Insane,"[7] David Rose's "Unseen Springsteen"[8] Robert M. Night's "Rock Gods: 50 Years of Rock Photography,"[9] Jay Blakesberg's "Traveling At A High Frequency,"[10] legendary illustrator Alan Aldridge's “The Man With Kaleidoscope Eyes”[11] world renowned poster artist EMEK,[12] and legendary poster designer John Van Hamersveld. It has also presented shows of art by musicians including former Jefferson Airplane singer Grace Slick,[13] the Cure bassist Porl Thompson,[14] Jurassic 5 rapper Chali 2na[15], Public Enemy's Chuck D[16], and Incubus frontman Brandon Boyd's “Ectoplasm.”[17] Classic images of the Rolling Stones, Dylan, The Clash, Van Halen, and David Bowie[18], taken by renowned photographers including Bob Gruen, Danny Clinch, and Mick Rock are on display and available for purchase.
