Career[edit | edit source]

Best known for her small town novel Sweet Tea and Secrets set in Adams Grove, Nancy Naigle was an International Thriller Writers debut author for 2011/2012. The bestselling Adams Grove series developed from Sweet Tea and Secrets was bought by Montlake Romance in March 2012 in a four-book deal, followed by a two-book deal. RT Book Reviews gave Sweet Tea and Secrets a four-star review, stating this novel discovers "...camaraderie of a small town is captured in all its glory"[2] Sweet Tea and Secrets has been translated into German Eistee und Geheimnisse (2014) and Italian Tè, zucchero e segreti (2016). All six books in this series are available in trade paperback, large-print library edition, audio and digital formats.

In April 2012, Montlake also bought Naigle's second contemporary series, The Boot Creek Novels. All three of the Boot Creek Novels received HJ RECOMMENDS ratings from Harlequin Junkie.[3] [4] Forsyth Woman Magazine interviewed Ms. Naigle about her latest release Until Tomorrow, and her writing journey in the July 2017 issues. [5]

In May 2013, Naigle was featured in Brighton Living magazine in an article titled Heart In The Write Place.[6]

She's also been a guest on Milwaukee's Morning Blend TMJ4 talking about the romance genre, discussing her writing career and offering advice on southern women's fiction.[7]

In 2015, St. Martin's Press contracted Naigle for two books. Christmas Joy, a heartwarming family holiday novel, released on October 14, 2016, receiving a Harlequin Junkie Recommends rated review on December 1, 2016. Library Journal described Christmas Joy as "An exhilarating holiday romance by the author of the popular “Adams Grove” series."[8] Hope At Christmas was Ms. Naigle's second Christmas book with St. Martin's Press. On March 10, 2017, Crown Media optioned the film rights for Christmas Joy, followed by the rights to Hope at Christmas later that same year.

During the 2018 Christmas season, Christmas Joy ranked #36 Hallmark Channels Countdown to Christmas, while Hope at Christmas ranked #24 in the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Miracles of Christmas as noted on the Hallmark Channel Original Wiki page at[9] She also appeared on Hallmark Channel's Home and Family Show in 2018 and 2019. [10]

Nancy has since signed to continue writing for St. Martin's Griffin and Hallmark Publishing.

Naigle is working on several projects with Hallmark. Including novelization of the Hallmark Original Movie Christmas in Evergreen and original work for Hallmark Publishing that will release in February 2019, as well as the connections with Crown Media and the optioned movie projects.

Naigle enjoys the diversity of adding cozy mysteries to her list of accomplishments through Crossroads Publishing House in the humorous southern fiction series, the G Team series (formerly known as The Granny Series), co-authored with Kelsey Browning. These are not your momma's grannies. These gals are just like Dirty Harry...only over 50, female and from the South! On June 9, 2016, In For A Penny, the first book in the series, entered the USA Today Bestsellers list.[11] Nancy is a member of several writing organizations including: Mystery Writers of America, International Thriller Writers (2010/2011 debut author)[12] Romance Writers of America (2016 Honor Roll)[13]
