Uzoegbu Alexander Enyinnaya (born 20th September, 1995) known with his stage name Naya Dane[1] is Nigerian born singer, songwriter and performer . He was a rapper but now a singer, whose choice of music is Afro Pop.[2]

Early life and Education[edit]

Uzoegbu Chukwuemeka who was born and raised in the Okokomaiko area of Lagos state. He hails from Imo state, the eastern part of the country. He his passionate about music because he started singing from early age.

He had his early education in Lagos; he proceeded to Study Theater Art and Social Studies at Adeniran Ogunsanya College Of Education

Career[edit]

He kick started his musical career in 1999 as a rapper known as Lil Slizzy.

He created a music group at the age of 7 and the group performed at major Carnivals in the Lagos state.

At age 9 he became a Solo act; He released his first Single track titled “Personnel” at the age of 11 under the name Lil Slizzy,

By 2012, he re-branded and started with the new name Naya Dane.[3][4]

He released his first official single “Diana” under the “Naya Dane[5]” brand in 2016. Naya Dane went on with another song titled “Badder” as a follow up single with an accompanying video.

He earned international collaborations and shows. This landed him a one year Management deal with Rockwell360 in 2016.
