Nellore Chennai Central MEMU Express (numbered:66056/66055) is an MEMU express train of Southern Railway, operated between Nellore and Chennai Central.
On 21 February 2019, the Indian Railways announced the MEMU express railway service between Nellore and Chennai Central, which is first between these routes with the Nellore Chennai MEMU Express. The train will run only on weekdays exclusive of Saturday & Sunday and would depart Nellore at 5:45 am and arrive in Chennai Central at 09:05 am on the same day. On the return journey, it would depart Chennai Central at 4:30 pm and arrive in Nellore at 8:20 pm on the same day. As the train provides rail connectivity to at eight stations in the deserted cities of Nellore, Tiruvallur and Chennai districts. It had 8 coaches.
