In December 2017, NEXTEP SYSTEMS provided Dallas-area fast casual restaurant Malibu Poke with a new POS system that uses facial recognition technology to recall customer's previous orders.[7]
Early in 2017, NEXTEP SYSTEMS introduced facial recognition at the Owings Mills, MD location of UFood Grill as a way to recall a customer’s order history.[8],[9]
In March 2010, NEXTEP SYSTEMS partnered with SUBWAY franchisee Rob Woodward, deploying touch screen drive-thru’s at 4 of his SUBWAY stores. Woodward announced that he saw a full return on investment in 24 weeks.[2]
