Neyland Cricket Club is a cricket club based in Neyland, Wales. The club was established in 1889, and was a founder member of the Pembroke County Cricket Club in 1947. [1] The club celebrated it's 125th anniversary in the 2014 season.

The club currently holds the ECB Clubmark Accreditation.[2]

The club currently runs three senior teams, which compete in the first, third and fifth divisions of the Pembroke County Cricket League respectively.

Club honours[edit]

The first team has won the Division One title five times, most recently in 2014. [1]

Their three Division Two triumphs came in 1966, 1976 and 2004. [1]

They have also won the Harrison-Allen Bowl on eight occasions[3], as well as nine Duggie Morris successes [4] and three Jubilee Cup wins. [5]

The club has a proud history in the Pembrokeshire Indoor League, claiming ten titles, with the first coming in 1996. [1]

The team were Welsh Indoor champions between 2011 and 2015, with the last victory in 2017. They reached the ECB National Indoor Finals in 2014.[6] and 2015 [6]

The second team claimed the Division Four title in 2013. [7] Their two other successes have come in the Alec Colley Cup, with they won in 1990 and 1991.

The third team were successful in winning the (now defunct) Division Six title in 2015.[8]

The club previously ran a ladies team, who won the Pembrokeshire Ladies League for seven consecutive years between 2003 and 2009. Their Ladies Cup victories came in 1961, 1995, 2003, 2004 and 2006. [1]

The club also enters the Ormond Youth Cup, which is open to players aged 17 and under. Neyland have won this competition twice, in 1961 and 2002.[9]

The club traditionally play in an all-white kit, with black strips running down the sides of the shirt and trousers.[1]
