Nick Stevens (born January 31, 1995) is an American football Quarterback for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL). He was signed by the Broncos as an undrafted free agent in 2018. He played college football at Colorado State University.

College career[edit | edit source]

Stevens started three seasons at Colorado State playing for head coach Mike Bobo. In 2017, Stevens Started all 13 games, completing 61.9 percent of passes (284-of-456) for 3,799 yards and 29 touchdowns with 10 interceptions and rushed 54 times for 123 yards and four touchdowns. His 3,799 passing yards and 29 passing touchdowns each ranked 13th in the country and he led the Mountain West in passer efficiency rating, passing yards, passing yards per pass attempt, passing yards per game, and completions and passing touchdowns. Stevens played alongside Biletnikoff Award finalists Michael Gallup and Rashard Higgins..[1]

Professional career[edit | edit source]

Stevens went undrafted in the 2018 NFL Draft, but the Denver Broncos signed him shortly after[2][3]. According to ESPN, Stevens will wear the number five and compete with Paxton Lynch and Chad Kelly for the backup spot to Case Keenum[4]
