Nikita Bagley

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Nikita Bagley is a Ukrainian-English professional Mixed Martial Arts fighter. As a child in Kiev, Ukraine, Bagley played multiple sports such as football and swimming before taking up MMA. He moved to England aged 14 and his stepdad made sure he was able to carry on his love for fighting and got him involved in a local gym called ‘Precision’. As he got older, he became one of the best amateurs in the world with him winning gold representing England in the WTKA and WKA championships. He also won bantamweight belts in LFC, Fightstar and Cage Warriors Academy as an amateur representing GB Top Team before turning pro in early 2020. He has said that he models his game off many different fighters that he watches as he is an avid fan of the sport; he has also said that his biggest inspirations are his coach Brad Pickett and training partner Nathaniel Wood because he knows them personally and “couldn’t idolise someone [he] doesn’t know”. The young bantamweight has stated that his legacy is really important to him and he wants to leave a mark on the sport and be remembered, however it is really important to him that he is remembered for being himself in that process. Bagley is 2-0 as a professional, with wins over Luke O'Neill and Andy Nunn, the latter being the most recent whom he beat in November of 2020 with a flying knee. He currently trains under the tutelage of Brad Pickett at GB Top Team.
