Nishiddho Premer Golpo (Bengali: নিষিদ্ধ প্রেমের গল্প) is a Bangladeshi film. The film written and directed by Rubel Anush. It feature Mamun and Shimla in the lead roles,[1][2] and Abul Hayat, Bappy, Najmul, Musa, Shimul Khan, Tutul Chowdhury played supporting roles in the film.

Production[edit]
Director Rubel Anush began shooting Nishiddho Premer Golpo in August 2014.[3] In March 2016, the film was described as being in the "final phase [of] shooting".[4] Anush blamed delays, especially to location shooting, on prevailing political violence. In an environment of mass protests and bombings, equipment companies, cast, and crew were risk averse. Another contributing factor was that Shimla, the heroine, had gone abroad,[3] and production stalled without her cooperation.[5]
Seven months later Anush announced that he was adding Peya Bipasha to the cast, rewriting, re-shooting, and changing the name of the film to Prem Kahan.[6] The original producer pulled out. Unable to interest other producers, Anush borrowed money and produced the film himself. But by August 2020 more money was needed to edit and release the film.[7]
