Noé Puentes

Noé Puentes (born July 6, 1994 in Lancaster, California) is an ex professional football(soccer) player. He currently lives in Wendell, North Carolina and is a very well known football(soccer) coach in the RDU triangle area. He also currently has a podcast named "The Noetic Post" which is featured on youtube, apple podcasts, and spotify.

Amateur and Professional Career

Puentes, better known as "La Maquina" (a nickname given to people in European football when they play the maestro role for a team) for his technique, tactical awareness, vision, and composure on a pitch. Puentes attended Wakefield HS where he was told he wasn't good enough to play on the HS team and was cut both his junior and senior year. Puentes was also cut from his local community college before deciding to drop out and pursue his long life dream of playing football at the highest level. He was first seen in chapel hill by the assistant coach of the university who decided to invite him to a semi-pro team called triangle brigade. They went on to win their region in Birmingham Alabama. Two years later he attended a tryout in Fort Lauderdale where a scout decided to give him a shot a professional football over seas. He initially began his career as a pivot (also known as center defensive midfielder), but was converted to a CAM (center attacking mid) while in Europe and in during his year in California. While in Europe, he featured in every game, including games against two champions league sides.
