Noah Eisenberg (born November 30, 1997) is a Canadian professional soccer player who plays attacking midfielder for College 1975 F.C. in the Gibraltar National League.
Youth and college[edit]
Eisenberg played for multiple local soccer clubs in Montreal, namely FC Boisbriand and CS Mont-Royal Outremont.[1] Eisenberg graduated from St. George's School of Montreal where he played on the school’s soccer team.[1][2] He was also voted one of the top 10 best high school players by the Greater Montreal Athletics Association.[3]
After graduating Noah accepted a scholarship to play at Bridgton Academy, and the following year Tilton School.[4] Eisenberg eventually accepted a scholarship to play at Birmingham Southern College.[5]He made eight appearances for Birmingham-Southern College’s soccer team.[3]
Professional career[edit]
Maccabiah Games[edit]
Eisenberg was part of Canada’s delegation of athletes during the 2013 Maccabiah Games.[6][3]He played for Canada’s soccer team during the competition.[7][8][9]
Waasland-Beveren[edit]
Eisenberg trialed at first division Belgium club, Waasland-Beveren.[5] While in Belgium he trained with the U21 and Reserves team coached by Marc Vanhoomissen, best known for developing football superstar Romelu Lukaku.[10][11]He spent three months training in Belgium.[5]
Derriaghy FC[edit]
In January 2019, Eisenberg signed with Northern Irish club Derriaghy Cricket Club F.C. which competes in the Northern Amateur Football League.[12] Eisenberg scored 3 goals and had 4 assists.[13][14][15]
Lurgan Celtic FC[edit]
In 2019 Eisenberg signed with Lurgan Celtic F.C. which then competed in the NIFL Premier Intermediate League. [16]Soon after Eisenberg signed, the club's senior side folded due to financial issues.[17][11]
Dakota Fusion FC[edit]
In 2020, Eisenberg signed with semi-professional club Dakota Fusion FC which competes in the National Premier Soccer League.[18] In April 2020 the NPSL announced that the season would be canceled due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.[19][20]
Llangefni Town FC[edit]
In 2020, Eisenberg signed in the Cymru North with Llangefni Town F.C.[21][11] Eisenberg trialed with the team in 2019 and was offered a contract, but the deal wasn't signed in time for the transfer window closure. The club stayed in contact and Eisenberg finally signed for the 2020 season.[22] The deal made Eisenberg the first Canadian to sign in the Cymru North.[23] Eisenberg played several games before March 2021 when the season was canceled due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.[24][25]
Europa Point FC[edit]
In August 2021, Eisenberg signed in the Gibraltar National League with Europa Point F.C.[26][27][1]He played in multiple games for the club’s first and under-23 squad, for which he served as assistant captain.[1][28]
College 1975[edit]
In January 2022, Eisenberg left Europa Point F.C. and signed with College 1975 F.C., a club that also competes in the Gibraltar National League.[18]
