Numato Lab is a company based in both Bangalore in India [1] and the state of Colorado in the United States, that provides power-packed solutions for industrial automation. Their primary areas of focus are FPGA based systems/Accelerated Computing and Automation/Data Acquisition Systems.

Established in 2011, Numato Systems Pvt. Ltd. (Numato Lab) creates technology implementations for OEMs, Academic institutions and individual users. Numato Lab sells hardware that can be integrated into OEM solutions.

Numato Systems Pvt. Ltd. Was founded in 2011, taking care of designing and manufacturing. Then, Numato Systems, LLC – was formed in 2014, serving the US market exclusively.

Numato Lab currently sells and ships products to all continents except Antarctica. Its major markets served are North America, Western EU, and Japan.

Products and solutions[edit]

Numato Lab is primarily known for its Relay and GPIO modules and, FPGA products.[2]

Under the Global Relay Modules Market 2018-2023 research report, Numato Lab is mentioned as one of the leading companies in the relay market.[3]

Their industrial sensors, relay modules and GPIO's can also be found on variations of 16, 32 and 64 channels.[4]

On the FPGA category, the Mimas V2 is one of Numato Lab's most popular boards, which is a low-cost FPGA board with a Xilinx Spartan 6 FPGA, 512 Mb LPDDR memory, and a VGA port. The board can be used for prototype development, signal processing, learning digital electronics and as an educational tool for schools and universities. The board can be programmed with Xilinx ISE Webpack (Windows and Linux) via USB. The company also provides documentation, Verilog code samples, and several tutorials for the board.[5]
