"O'Dell Brown IV" was born in January 7, 1991, known professionally as O.B.G (Obligated to be Blessed and Glorious), is an American rapper in Cairo, Illinois, From the slums of Southern Illinois. A country boy from a small town with a style of his own. His best known for his "freestyles", and producing emerges from the scars of the world around him with words for a story untold. He performed shows from St. Louis, (US states) |Missouri]] to Atlanta (US states) Georgia, leaving his impression on multiple cities along the way. He has been Opening act for various artist like Don Trip, Blac Youngsta[1], Slick Pulla U.S.D.A. (United Street Dopeboyz of America) member, Bankroll Fresh, Trillville, Huey, Gangsta Blac and a few other various artists.
Early life[edit]
O'Dell Brown IV was born on January 7, 1991, in Carbondale, Illinois. He raised in Cairo, Illinois, a poverty-stricken area where opportunities are rare,he is the second oldest child out of four boys from his mother "Tuts" and third oldest out of twenty plus children to his father "Sweet Pea". As a child, he escaped negative influences through music.He earned his diploma from Cairo Junior/Senior High in May, 2009. Shortly after, he became influence by the streets, earning his first mugshot in December, 2009 possession of marijuana and a 40 cal. He attented college dropout in 2012, His later arrest for possession of marijuana and 9mm, getting plea deal community service and fines.
