October Films Ltd is an independent television company based in London with its subsidiary October Films Inc based in New York. Founded in 1989, October Films produce documentaries and docu-dramas for worldwide broadcasters. The indie established itself making distinctive feature length documentary films and now has a larger spectrum of factual entertainment programme making.
In 2018 October Films opened October Studios, based in Norfolk, UK.[1] October Studios hosts multiple studio space including prop and costumes stores and specialises in American dramas, notably with a replica of the Oval Office.
Some of October Films' most noted productions include: Barbarians RisingBarbarians Rising[2] for History Channel, Rude Tube for Channel 4 and E4 [3], BBC's Dangerous Borders: A Journey Across India and Pakistan [4], the Levison Wood walking series [5], Dispatches: Fighting The Taliban, Saving Syria's Children, The Return of the Lost Boys of Sudan and World War II From Space.[6]
