Oliver Auerbach

Oliver Auerbach is the former CEO and co-founder of GloriaFood. He served as the Chief Technology Officer of Avira between May 2012 and July 2013.[1][2][3]


Early Career[edit]

Auerbach started his career as an anti-virus researcher apprentice within Avira, the free antivirus company with more than 100 million users around the world.

Later on, he moved to Bucharest, Romania, where he set-up and headed a new Avira research lab. He also ran the company's Web Services and Business Applications teams, as well as the the their Global Marketing operations.

In 2012, he was appointed as Avira's Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

Founding GloriaFood[edit]

Following Avira's business model, in 2013 Auerbach created GloriaFood, a start-up focused on designing a freemium online ordering system for small restaurant owners.[4][5] [6][7] The company is located in Bucharest, Romania.[8]
