Search Outrage (2020 film) on Amazon.Outrage is an upcoming American action thriller film written and Directed by Sandeep JL.[1] The film stars JF Davis, Chaz Taylor, Sandy Dutchak, Sandeep JL and Larissa Dali in the lead roles.

Development of Outrage began in August 2018, when Sandeep finished the first draft of the script. The film was originally planned to shoot in Austin, Texas, but later on decided to move to Houston, Texas. Some scenes are filmed in New York City.

Official teaser of the movie was released on Dec 19, 2019.[2] Outrage was scheduled to be theatrically released in May 2020. But the release date was pushed forward because of the corona virus outbreak.[3] On May 1, 2020, the film was released in Houston, for a limited audience.[4] The movie that was expected to release in May 2020, is now postponed to release in early June.[5]

Premise[edit]

A small college fight between two groups of girls, leads to the kidnapping of some girls by a biker gang.[6] An organized crime group asks a huge ransom for the release of these girls. Mike, one of the girl's fathers sets out to find them. But fails. He finally contacts his old friend in New York City who is an organized crime lord. He sends his son to Texas with a briefcase full of cash to pay the ransom. But it leads to a gang war which ends up in heavy casualties.

  • JF Davis as Mike, a retired army man who's daughter gets kidnapped by the biker gang.
  • Chaz Taylor as Tug Boat, Right-hand man of the Hardcastle family and lead biker.
  • Sandy Dutchak as Billy Hardcastle aka Blade. Elder son of William Hardcastle.
  • Bryan Self as Max Hardcatle, younger son of William Hardcastle.
  • Johnnie Owen as ex-arms dealer.

Production[edit]

Development of Outrage began in August 2018, when Sandeep finished the first draft of the script. Within a month after releasing his first short film Secret Intelligence, Sandeep decided to make his first feature film and finished the script for Outrage in less than a month. Johnnie Owen was the first to join the cast. In September 2018, Martial arts expert Bryan Self was cast in the film to play Max Hardcastle. Professional wrestler and actor Chaz Taylor was cast in October 2018 to play Tug Boat, who is the lead biker of the family.

In October 2018, JL Films announced, Vietnamese cinematographer Ken Dinh will join the crew as the director of photography. Sandeep used many of his crew from Vietnam because of the film's genre and their ability to make high intensity actions sequences.

After getting the green light in December 2018, Sandeep officially announced the project. Pre-Production began in December 2018. In February 2019 JF Davis was cast to play Mike.

Principal photography began on June 5, 2019, in Houston, Texas. The film was originally planned to shoot in Austin, Texas, but later decided to move to Houston. Some scenes of the film are filmed in New York City.

Release[edit]

The film was scheduled to be released worldwide on May, 2020, but was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic. The new release date is yet to be announced. The film was released in Houston to a limited audience on May 1, 2020.
