PDR Construction Ltd is a large independent construction resource based in Kingston-upon-Hull[1] and working across the United Kingdom. The company was established in 1993 by Paul Dransfield, and has completed projects in residential, food retail, retail and trade parks, motor retail, health and education, industrial, office and the hotel and leisure sectors.

Key sectors[edit]

Residential[edit]

Since 2012 PDR Construction has completed the construction of over 500 residential units, with the majority in London and ranging from 20 to 120 units on projects up to 13 storeys in height. The company has worked with both private developers and Housing Associations.

Food retail[edit]

PDR Construction has been building food stores since 1998 and has constructed buildings by every major U.K. grocer, including Morrisons[2], Waitrose[3], Lidl[4] and Aldi[5]. The company builds both shell and fully fitted stores.

Retail and trade parks[edit]

The company has constructed in excess of 1.5 million sq/ft accommodation of trading parks across the U.K. for developers and pension funds. Completed projects have ranged from remodelling and extending to constructing full new build destinations.

Motor retail[edit]

Since 1993 PDR Construction has completed over 300 motor trade projects for many U.K. motor franchises including Audi[6], Porsche, Nissan and Toyota.

Health and education[edit]

PDR has completed the build of nursing facilities catering for care needs, surgeries, schools and colleges for both public and private sector clients.

Industrial[edit]

Working across the U.K. PDR has built industrial manufacturing and storage facilities[7] ranging from 20,000 - 200,000 sq/ft on green and brownfield sites.

Office[edit]

PDR Construction has developed in excess of 300,000 sq/ft of Grade A office accomodation, ranging from full fit out to shell and core[8][9][10].

Hotels and leisure[edit]

In the last ten years the company has completed building projects for hotel groups including Premier Inn and Travelodge[11], gyms, restaurant chains including Costa Coffee, Five Guys, McDonald's and Krispy Kreme, and leisure clubs[12].
