Pakistan Journalism Standards and Media

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Pakistan media and journalism have evolved significantly over the previous decade. The electronic and print media have made tremendous progression in terms of the content that is presented. The proliferation of new channels to deliver news has also brought in a more improved form of journalism, with freedom of the press being a significant one as as well as authentic investigative reporting coming in close second. However, most of the journalists associated with Pakistan media are sub-par and their content quite close to what would be considered tabloid material to a Western audience. There is hardly any incentive to do original and investigative reporting with hundreds of news channels in different languages churning out the same tabloid grade news stories. Most of the content is incorrect. This article will highlight some of the inaccuracies in Pakistan media and will evolve organically.
