Pandum online is a fantasy MMORPG by French development company Electronic Experience.[1] Players from android devices can meet those on PC to evolve in a dark fantasy universe [2].GUI is thought as an arcade game [3] and can adapt to several device resolutions (from smartphone to desktop screen).

Development[edit]

In February 2014, Electronic experience posted a Steam (software) green lite entry [4] based on a prototype which was made for a OUYA game jam contest [5], but the crowd-funding campaign didn't succeed and a lot of initially announced features doesn't exist. However, game has been released 2 years later.

Univers[edit]

Game splash screen learns us that long time ago a wizard called Hares was very powerful and led people to consider him as a god. Divinities felt insulted and plunged the world into chaos to let heroes prove their faith.

Game play[edit]

[6] [7] Players control a male or female avatar that spends most of its online time fighting creatures and most of its offline time running a shop. There is no character classes, player can freely assigned statistics points on 3 categories (defense, attack, speed) and pick skills from a common grid.

Levels are gained based on experience, which can be acquired by killing monsters and by achieving quests. Quests generally involve killing a specific number of monsters and gather quest objects they drop. Each level increases player statistics according to initial balance and grants a new skill point every 5 levels.

Statistics can also be increased using equipment and items. Equipment can be dropped by creature or buy at player shops, and can be enhanced using specific items which can be found the same way than equipment but also in meta games (card games, craft system...)

Player base[edit]

Even if this game is presented as an MMORPG, there are not a lot of active players but almost all objectives can be achieved alone and some player bots also populate the server to help in the game. According to the ranking system available on the official web site[8] High level players (greater than 50) are less than 10 in august 2021.
