Parole is an upcoming Malayalam language thriller movie featuring mega star Mammootty in the lead role, directed by the debut Sharrath Sandith. The movie is developed under the banner of Antony D’Cruz Entertainment and Ajith Poojappura has penned the script for the film.[1] Mammootty presents the role as a prisoner in this thriller movie. The film is based on a real incident and is surely a complete package to all type viewers. Actress Miya George is also a part with this film, she appears as one of the lead actresses.[2] S. Lokanathan is the cinematographer and the songs are composed by Sharreth and Ellwyn Joshua.

Sharrath Sandith[edit]

Sharrath Sandith is a famous ad filmmaker and now he turns to the big screen with actor Mammootty. He had already worked with Mammootty in many ad film mainly for South Indian bank. His ad films has different style and different way of presentation and has done many critically acclaimed works like the ‘Vaikittu Entha Parupadi’ featuring Mohanlal. The film has a different touch as like his ad works.

Plot[edit]

Mammootty comes as a prisoner in this movie, as a prisoner he last spotted in the mystery thriller movie Munnariyuippu, directed by Venu and which was released in 2014. The director, Sharrath Sandith did not reveal more details about the character of Mammootty. Miya George handles one of the lead female character in this film. Iniya plays another major role in the movie. Other casts include Siddique, Sudheer Karamana, Suraj Venjarumoodu and many leading actors. Most shots of the film were taken in prison, with the main shooting location being Bangalore and the rest of the shots were taken at Thodupuzha, Kerala. The movie is all set to get released on the end of March 2018.
