Party Express - US Manufacturer of Party Supplies
Party Express is a domestic manufacturer of party supplies and decorations founded in 1977 by John and Mary Rock in Sugarloaf, Pennsylvania. The company is one of the largest suppliers of New Year's Eve party supplies and decorations to the hospitality and service industry. They currently manufacture and stock approximately 10,000 unique items for both seasonal and theme based events and parties.[1]

Founded by John and Mary Rock in 1977, Party Express has become one of the largest suppliers of New Year's Eve party goods and decorations in the United States. The company began as a small mom and pop operation where they shipped product from their basement and utilized a long time supplier, The Beistle Companyto supply them with the majority of their product. The family run business eventually developed into a large company and was responsible for supplying a large percentage of the hospitality industry with their seasonal party favors.
Party Express is a catalog and web based company and all of their products are found on their website. The first official Party Express catalog was mail in 1993 and consisted of 8 pages worth of product. The company now mails an annual catalog that is 72 pages and contains hundreds of different products related to the New Year's Eve Holiday.
In 2010, John Rock[2] passed away at the age of 65 and the business was carried on by his wife Mary for a number of years.
Acquisitions[edit]
In 2014, Party Express was acquired by The Beistle Company, the largest and oldest manufacturer of party supplies in the United States. The Beistle Company continues to operate Party Express under the original trade name and offers similar products and services.
