Patrick Ivey (born December 27, 1972) is the Associate Athletic Director for Student Athlete Health and Performance at the University of Louisville.[1] He has been involved in the strength and conditioning profession for more than 20 years. Prior to Louisville, Ivey held similar roles at the University of Missouri, University of Tulsa, and Arkansas State University.[2] As a player, he played collegiate football at the University of Missouri before a four-year career in the National Football League as a member of the Detroit Lions, San Diego Chargers, Denver Broncos, and Green Bay Packers.
Ivey holds a PhD in Sport Psychology from the University of Missouri and devotes much of his spare time giving back to those who have played prominent roles in his life. In addition to his role at the University of Louisville, he serves as President of Pat Ivey Performance. Founded in 2018, Pat Ivey Performance specializes in helping clients reach their peak performance through mental, physical, and life coaching.

Personal life[edit]
Pat Ivey is married to Dr. Starla Ivey. Together, they have two daughters, Paisli and Serena. They reside in Louisville, Kentucky.
