Petr Kužel
Petr Kužel (March 11, 1962 - January 30, 2021) was a Czech politician and businessman who from 2008 to 2014 was the president of the Czech Chamber of Commerce. He graduated from the Secondary Industrial School of Transport in Prague. From 19 November 1994 to 10 October 2014, he was a member of the Prague 13 City Council . He was also a member of the Prague City Council from 2005 to 2010 . 3 [1] On 29 May 2008, he was elected President of the Chamber of Commerce. He performed this function until May 22, 2014. In May 2013, it was announced that he was facing a criminal complaint from the Endowment Fund against Corruption, which suspects him of embezzlement, breach of duty in the administration of third-party property or misconduct in the award of a public contract. Under the leadership of Petr Kužel, HK placed an overpriced contract without a tender to an unknown company RDM sro with an untraceable Ukrainian owner. Although HK won the contract first, she was unable to fulfill it. HK paid 91 million crowns for RDM sro. He died on January 30, 2021 at the age of 58 from COVID-19. [2]
