Planète Juniors, born from the merger between Ma Planète and Eureka!, Was a French educational television channel for 8-13 year olds. It is a part of Planète channels. The channel stops on March 22, 2009 at midnight after a year and a half of existence and some programs are then transferred to Télétoon.

Editorial Committee[edit | edit source]

This committee was made up of the directors of the France 2 and France 3 youth units, the general secretary of the France 5 antenna, the general manager of France Télévisions Développement and the deputy general director of the Discovery and Entertainment channels of Planète. He defined the editorial line of the channel.

Capital[edit | edit source]

The channel's capital was 66% owned by MultiThématiques (Canal+ Group) and 34% by France Télévisions.

Planet Juniors was born as a result of the merger of Ma Planète (Canalsat) and Eureka! (TPS).

The ludo-active channel to discover the world while having fun.

A different and original programming compared to other youth channels: fiction, magazines, documentaries. Planète Juniors offers a large part of its fiction programs in French / English / German multilingual broadcasting.
