The Polk Audio Command Bar is a smart speaker soundbar developed by Polk Audio, currently slated for release in Spring 2018. The speaker contains a center section with which the user can utilize the built-in virtual assistant Amazon Alexa.

Hardware[edit]

The Command Bar features a single class-D amplifier, two 3.25" oval mid-range/woofers, two 1" round tweeters, and an array of far-field microphones on top for use with the virtual assistant. On the back of the unit, Polk includes a USB service port, two HDMI 2.0b ports - one of which is compatible with ARC), and an optical audio input. Internally, the speaker supports Bluetooth and 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac. Polk also includes a yet unseen infrared-based remote control and wireless subwoofer which uses its own class-D amplifier and single 6.5" round subwoofer speaker.
