In “Pop&Suki,” an eccentric Asian director in charge of a fashion shoot forces his strange ideas of branding on a couple of designers, Suki Waterhouse and Poppy Jamie (Pop & Suki). Based on true experiences, Suki and Poppy play themselves in this stranger-than-fiction retelling directed by Gigi Ben Artzi and Roy Ben Artzi. From crisps inside an Aquarium to references of modern-day rappers – there is a perceptive use of word combinations all in the spirit of the 1960s. It was shot on a 16mm film in Los Angeles.
