Prince Ernest Khuemen Okojie

Prince Ernest Khuemen Okojie was born a Prince in Uromi in 1938 to the Uromi Ruling House to King Ogbidi Okojie of Uromi and died in the year 2016, had his elementary education at the famous Uromi Government School in 1952. He attended the Prestigious Government Teachers' Training College, Abraka in 1961. He took and completed a full correspondence course in Law in 1976 and had a bite in teaching.

Political Career and Associations[edit]

Prince E. K. Okojie became the first Secretary General of Uromi Welfare Association which he founded and whose aim amongst others is to right the ills in Uromi society. Without testing the depth of Nigeria political water at a tender age of 27, he plunged into it and had his fingers burnt.

He was appointed a member of governing board to some Federal Government Parastatals such as National Veterinary Research Institute, Vom Jos and Bendel State Green Revolution coordinating Committee in 1980. Prince E. K. Okojie was an honorary citizen of America, a Commissioner for Agriculture in the State of Indiana U.S.A. and a meritorious recipient of a Golden Key to the city of Detroit, USA 182.

Edo State coordinator, in the then IBB Presidential Campaign Organisation, 2007. Chairman National coordinator Divine Mandate Group for Janathan 2010 with 36 States coordinator and FCT.

He was also a member and a Co-founder, Congress for Equality and Change(CEC), member south - South Peoples Parliament (SSPA_ and was a member Southern Nigeria People's Assembly(SNPA)
