Princess Alessandra of Hanover (Alessandra de Osma Foy born 21 March 1988) is a Peruvian model, fashion designer and wife of Prince Christian of Hanover (born 1985).

Early life and education[edit]

Hanover was born Alessandra de Osma Foy in Lima, Peru on 1992. Her parents are Elizabeth Foy Vasquez a former model and Felipe de Osma Berckemeyer owner of the secur company Hermes. She has three brothers: Juan Manuel, Felipe and Vasco de Osma. Through her father she's a descendant of Peruvian politician Pedro de Osma. Hanover is part Spanish, German and British.[3][4]

Hanover graduated from San Silvestre School a British-Peruvian private school located in the Miraflores District, Lima one of the wealthiest districts in Peru.[5] After graduating high school , Hanover went to study Law at the University of Lima. [6] and later at the Sorbonne University (group) in Paris and the University of Navarra[7]

Modeling career[edit]

At age 16 she was discovered by Ford models and began working in New York as a model. Hanover started in the Pepsi tv spot in Latinamerica.[8]

Personal life[edit]

At the age of 14 she met her now husband Prince Christian of Hanover (born 1985) when she acted as his tourist guide when the prince was visiting her native Peru in 2005[9]On November 25th, 2017 the couple married at a registry office in London a religious ceremony will be held in Lima, Peru on 16 March 2018.
