Prism software

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

PRISM is a forest management decision support system. The name stands for Plan-level forest activity scheduling model.

PRISM is developed with the end goal of allowing for rapid, efficient development of the ecological and timber information requirements of the 2012 Planning Rule that implements the National Forest Management Act of 1976. The software is adopted by multiple US National Forests to provide information for the Proposed Action associated with their ongoing Forest Plan Revision. Data and modeling needs from different US Regions are used for building software prototypes to ensure a product that is National in scope.
