Prospect.io is a sales automation platform. The company was founded by Vincenzo Ruggiero who was later joined by partner Jean-Baptiste Escoyez. The company has over 5000 users in 800 companies that include like Lyft, 87seconds and Cloudera.[2]

Prospect.io was founded in 2016[3] by ex-Javry CEO, Vincenzo Ruggiero. As an serial entrepreneur, Ruggiero had realized that manually prospecting for customers implied to spend large periods of time on low value-added activities. The process of finding prospects’ contact data, reaching out and measuring the results of the operations was often tedious and poorly done. The founder created Prospect.io to provide salespeople with a tool that makes sales prospection easy, less time-consuming an scalable.[4] [5]

A first version of the product was released in November 2015, after two months of work, as a test before the company was officially founded on January 2016.[3]

After 6 months, the company was registering $17,000 in monthly recurring revenue and catering to 400 customers with 3 employees.[6]

As of March 2018, Prospect.io generates over $1 million in annual recurring revenue.

Prospect.io provides email discovery, drip campaigns, analytics and integrations with other tools and is compatible with Google, Office 365, Exchange as well as own SMTP/IMAP servers.[7]

Users can find email addresses of prospects, create drip campaigns and send up to 400 emails a day. They can also measure their results thanks to a thorough analytics tool. They can also integrate the tool with other services such as CRM tools or contact management softwares. With this, sales teams are able to monitor their outreach process from end to end.
