Public Health Advocacy (PHA)

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Public Health Advocacy Nepal is a youth leading health advocacy program founded by Mr. Krishna Sharma in 2017 in Nepal. It is a community-based, bottom-up approach program primarily established with the aim of promoting public health through innovation and entrepreneurship and also providing the platform for meaningful youth engagement in health promotion and disease prevention as well as the socio-economic development sector to support in achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals by 2030. It mainly focuses on highly vulnerable rural communities and helps to bring them into the mainstream of national development. Currently, we are working on Maternal and Child Health, Environmental Health, Sexual and Reproductive Health, Nutritional Health, Gender Equality, Child Education, Humanitarian Crisis, Disaster Management, as well as Volunteering services to bring positive changes in the community. It is also expanded globally in 2020 as a "PUBLIC HEALTH ADVOCACY GLOBAL" after the COVID-19 pandemic helping people around the world.  It remains "PUBLIC HEALTH ADVOCACY NEPAL" as a sister organization in Nepal.
