Qays Kazim Haj al-Janabi (Arabic: قيس كاظم حاج الجنابي); (July 1, 1951) is an Iraqi critic and writer, lecturer, and scholarly and literary province, considered a genealogist and manuscript investigator. He started writing in 1976.[1]

Qais al-Janabi was born in Jurf al-Nasr district, north of Babil Governorate, in the village of al-Hujair. He studied at al-Musayyab Secondary School for Boys and graduated from it in the 1971-1972 school year. He received a bachelor’s degree in Arabic from the University of Basra - College of Literature, for the academic year 1975-1976. He holds a master’s degree in documents and manuscripts from the Institute of Arab History, for his thesis (the elite of Bahjat Al-Zaman in Mecca for the Kings of Bani Othman) written by Jarallah Muhammad bin Abdul Aziz Ibn Fahd (d. 954 AH), study and investigation, Al-Teb was discussed in the summer of 1999,[2] then completed his doctorate in intellectual heritage From the Institute of Arab History, for his thesis (The Impact of Poetry on Recording Historical Events during the Umayyad Era), which was discussed in August 2002.[3]
