Qianpeng Li(simplified Chinese: 李芊澎 born 1976), is an art organization founder, artistic director, theatre studies scholar and performing art instructor.

She began her career from 1999-2021 teaching at the acting department of the Shanghai Theatre Academy, one of China's top theatre institutions. She has long devoted herself to the educational research and training practice of professional actors.[1]

She has been a visiting scholar at festivals, theatres, galleries, and art schools around the world. She has introduced workshops by world-renowned theatre instructors such as Grotowski and Suzuki’s method in Shanghai, China.

She is the translator of the Chinese version of the 'Michael Chekhov Handbook for Actors', introducing the world-renowned Michael Chekhov Method to the Chinese theatre education community.

She has been the curator of several international art projects. She has introduced global contemporary theatre artworks to China for performance and exchange with Chinese public art institutions such as the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing, Shanghai Jing'an Modern Drama Valley, Shanghai International Arts Festival and Jinxi Ancient Town Arts Festival.

She founded the independent theatre organisation VertebrART, based in Shanghai and Spain, and served as its artistic director. The company is dedicated to organising, planning, producing, and promoting international collaborative theatre arts projects and international performing arts education. VertebrART has produced The Open Couple (2016), Lungs (2017), Poison (2017), Fight Me Now (2017), The Flood (2017), Bartleby, the Scrivener (2018), The Little Pony (2018), Papa's Bed (2019), Momo (2019).

She is also the founder and president of Just Art Association, an international non-profit arts organisation in Spain. The organisation curates and organises the long-term experimental international art residency project “ is Theatre”. After the epidemic in 2021, the organisation held the first exhibition "Open is theatre International Festival" in Alicante[2]. In February 2022, the organisation will host the second “Difference is Theatre International Festival” in Valencia.
