Rémy Berrabah (born November 8, 1992) is a French professional basketball player who last played for Lima Norte Basketball Club of Liga de Basket de Lima LBL Peruvian Top division.[1]
Biography[edit]
Basketball career[edit]
Berrabah started at Basket Lauragais where he made the departmental and regional youth selections. He then went on to play in Carcassonne in the Top regional division. After being spotted by two training prospect centers, Hyères Toulon Var Basket and Jeanne d'Arc Dijon Basket, he finally decided for personal reasons to move to Toulouse to play in the Junior French Championship category at the TCMS and in senior Pre-National at the USR club in parallel with these studies.
Attracted by the Spanish league, several clubs organised try-outs for him, including Real Madrid Prospect and Plural Acesores CBC. In 2014, he will join the Madrid team for 2 years, with a double project Primera Nacional- Liga EBA.[2][3][4] Despite good regular season statistics in the Spanish league (11.7 ppg), he will sign in September 2016 in France at Albi basket 81 in Semi Professional Level (NM3).[5] In 2017 he will play for the summer season in Peru for Lima Norte Basketball Club in Liga de Basket de Lima LBL Peruvian Top division where he wins the Copa Spalding 2017 in Lima.[6]
In 2018 he played at the MBC (NM3) for one season before returning to Spain for the 2019/2020 season in Pamplona (Navarra) with Valle de Egües Club (Liga EBA) Liga Española de Baloncesto.[7]
