REDX
REDX - (Rethinking, Engineering, Design, Execution) is a peer to peer innovation platform launched by Prof Ramesh Raskar using the $500k price money, which he received from the Lemelson foundation in 2016.[1][2]
REDX Philosphy[edit]
REDX philosophy centers on a spot/probe/grow/launch model. The first step is spotting the right problem to work on together with experts and stakeholders. This is a multi-stage process analyzing available resources and pressing problems. Later phases involve probing the solution, growing adoption and launching the prototype.[3]
REDX philosophy has helped launch 5 hubs:[4]
- Emerging Worlds Special Interest Group at Massachusetts Institute of Technology
- LVP MITra in Hyderabad
- REDX Weschool at the WeSchool in Mumbai,
- REDX Kumbhathon in Nashik,
- DISQ Center in Nashik.
