    Raddle is a discussion website.

    History[edit]

Raddle was made after far-left Redditors found themselves banned for actions that others were not banned for, causing outrage against Reddit in its communities.[1]

The original website was called Raddit, a portmanteau of "radical" and "Reddit". It ran on a heavily customized Wordpress, with support for groups, voting and private messages.

In early 2017, the forum moved to new software written in PHP using the Symphony framework by the user "emma".

After some time, the name was changed to Raddle to avoid copyright issues.[2]

Since then, Raddle has adopted user biographies and custom themes with dependency resolution.

In March 2018, it was revealed an administrator had been using alternate accounts to change public opinion on the website.[3]

    In media[edit]

Raddle was featured in Vice as a "[radical leftist run] Reddit after it banned them".[4]
