Radio Newquay
Radio Newquay is a UK Radio Station due to launch in Autumn 2018[1]. It will serve residents of Newquay (which includes St Columb Minor and Porth), Quintrell Downs, St Columb Major, Holywell and Cubert, Crantock, St Newlyn East and Goonhavern. [2]
It was awarded a five-year FM community radio licence by OFCOM in November 2017.[3] The station is being launched by Radio Newquay and Media Ltd, which is a consortium of Radio Professionals Mark Chapple, Sarah Bunt and Matt Bunt.[4]
The station will feature news and events from the local community, surf news, water safety information, sport and local information.[1]
Radio Newquay will also facilitate a Training Programme for prospective contributors and producers.[2]
