Ragazzi di Livonia
|Founding location||Livonia, Michigan|
|Criminal activities||Assault, loan sharking, theft, drug trafficking, and extortion|
Ragazzi di Livonia (occasionally just Il Ragazzi) is a street gang of young Italian-American boys in the city of Livonia. It has been speculated that at least some members have ties to the Detroit Partnership.
History[edit | edit source]
The gang was formed sometime in the mid 2010s by groups of young Italian Americans that shared a common ethnic heritage and a desire to gain the attention of their larger and more well known adult counterpart. The gang has been responsible for various crimes in Livonia including an increase of graffiti around the city and the robbery of multiple businesses. Because of the relative lack of rival criminal groups in the area, the gang appears to dominate the city's criminal underworld.
Criminal Activities[edit | edit source]
It has been reported that the gang is involved with assault, loan sharking, theft, drug trafficking, and extortion. The Livonia Police Department has made no arrests for any of these reported activities.
