Ravenclaw is band from Slovakia writing and composing mainly power metal music
The band Ravenclaw originated in 2002 in the middle Europe. Since then, this group has been writing and arranging their own compositions into modern style influenced by rock and metal.
At the concerts, the band draws attention not only to quality musical performances, but also on "image" and "show". The group consists of a trio of siblings - singer Matej, drummer Juraj, bass player Tonka, complemented by an excellent keyboardist Gabriel and a great guitarist Peter. Band plays a symphonic melodic music with high vocal range. Ravenclaw have played alongside bands like Gamma Ray, Lordi, Andre Matos band, Rage, Primal Fear, Rhapsody, Masterplan and many more.
The band is celebrating 17th anniversary this year (2002-2018). Ravenclaw holds strong together, as it´s like one family - having 3 siblings amongst them.[1]

Since 2002, Ravenclaw has performed dozens of concerts and festivals mainly as a forerunner of several legends, for example, Ray (GER), Rhapsody of fire (IT),
Stratovarius (FIN), Lordi (FIN), Freedom Call (GER), Andre Matos band (BRA),
Primal Fear (GER), Masterplan (GER), Rage (GER), Evergrey (SWE), Fermata (SVK), Arakain
(CZE), Pokolgép (HUN), Turbo (POL), Jelonek (POL), Crystal Viper (POL),Wendigo (HUN).
Ravenclaw has been performing concerts to recent (2018) in countries,
Slovakia, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Poland, Germany;

Ravenclaw creates, writes and plays exclusively their own compositions. The exception was in 2017, on the 15th anniversary, where Ravenclaw played 4 from 11 shows with singer and guitar player Kai Hansen (GAMMA RAY, UNISONIC, ex-HELLOWEEN), also 2 songs from GAMMA RAY band were included.[1]
