RentSher is an online rental company incorporated in December 2014. It currently operates in United Arab Emirates, India & Saudi Arabia.
History[edit]
RentSher was founded by Harsh Dhand and Vaibhav Doshi, alumni of IIT Delhi and Oxford University in December 2014 in India. Like any other parents, they were searching for kid’s fancy dress costumes and birthday party decorators online and ended up renting offline as there were no online providers. This triggered an idea that lead to the birth of RentSher to bridge the gap between offline vendors and online customers by providing a seamless end to end renting platform online.
Funding[edit]
RentSher received Series A funding of $300 thousand from Angel Investors in January 2016.[1] followed by $1.1 million funding from Shorooq Investments, Latitude Consultants and Dubai based Angels in March 2018[2]
Business Model[edit]
RentSher works on a revenue sharing model for costumes, electronics, event equipment's, furnitures, party decoration, gaming console, kids play area setup and Medical equipment’s.
