From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Richard Pusey is an Australian mortgage broker. In 2020, he was involved in an incident in which four Victoria Police were killed. He has also been the subject of the investigative program A Current Affair. He also reportedly has a criminal history going back to 2007.[1]

Mortgage business[edit]

Pusey's mortgage business, Switch Now Home Loans, was the subject of A Current Affair, where he was accused of not paying workers.[2] He was recorded on camera as saying "Get some more fucking cancer you stupid fucking bitch” to a cancer survivor.[2] The program labelled him as 'Richie Rich' and 'Australia's nastiest customer'.[3][4] He was named Australia's 28th best mortgage broker in 2016 by Mortgage Professional Australia.[3]

2020 Eastern Freeway crash[edit]

In April 2020, Pusey was stopped by police driving his Porsche 911 on the Eastern Freeway of Melbourne.[5] As his car was being impounded, a truck crashed into the police officers, killing all four. Pusey then allegedly filmed the dying officers, and told one of them that "All I wanted to do was go home and eat my sushi, you've fucked my fucking car" before fleeing the scene.[6] He faced 10 charges for his actions.[7]
