Romance on the Menu is a 2020 G-rated.[1] independent romantic-comedy film directed by Rosie Lourde[2]. The film stars Canadian actress Cindy Busby as restauranteur Caroline Wilson and Australian actor Tim Ross as chef Simon Cook[3].

The film was shot in Brisbane[4] and will be released on Netflix in Australia and New Zealand on September 24th 2020[5].

Plot[edit]

New York restauranteur Caroline Wilson (Busby) inherits her Aunt's café, The Seagull, in Lemon Myrtle Cove, Australia. As she attempts to renovate the local business in order to sell, Caroline begins to fall in love with the small town and its citizens, particularly The Seagull's head chef Simon Cook (Ross)[4].

Between her ex-fiancé imploring her to return to New York and take him back and her growing feelings for Simon, Caroline is faced with a life-changing decision- to either stay in Lemon Myrtle Cove or return to her old life in America[5].
