Ryan Peniston (born 10 November 1995) is a British professional tennis player.

Peniston has a career high ATP singles ranking of world No. 359, achieved on 4 November 2019. In doubles, he has a career high ranking of world No. 632 on 26 August 2019.

Peniston has won two ITF Tour Singles Events and participated in the Singles Qualifying at the 2019 Wimbledon Championships.

He currently plays on the ATP Tour (professional circuit) and is coached by his father, Paul Peniston.

Early Years[edit]

Peniston grew up in Southend-on-Sea, Essex and moved to a tennis academy in France at the age of 13. In 2014, he won the under 18 Boys singles and doubles title at the LTA British Nationals. He then went on to play on a tennis scholarship at University in the United States as a member of the Memphis Tigers.[1][2]
