Sébastien Bouin born on April 7, 1993 in Draguignan, is a French professional sport climber. He is not very active on the competition circuit, but he has completed some extremely difficult routes outdoors. He is one of the few climbers in the world who have climbed 9b/+.

Biography[edit]

He began climbing at 2005 at the age of 12 years and discovered a passion for the sport.

It is his determination, his passion (nutella[1]), and his obsession to climb hard and aesthetic lines.

In 2015 he made climbing history by finishing Chilam Balam 9b[2] located in Villanueva del Rosario. This was a third ascent after Adam Ondra and Bernabé Fernandez.

In 2019 he sent Move 9b/+ in Flatlanger Norway, and he completed a first ascent of La Rage d'Adam 9b/+ in Verdon Gorge, which is currently the hardest climb in France. In December of 2019 he also sent The Dream 9b in Brar, Albania, which was bolted by Adam Ondra.
