Brief Introduction

Ar. Shaikh Zuber Rashid did his graduation from Abhinav Kala Mahavidyalaya Pune in 1980. After having rigorous experience of five years in the field of architecture under a renowned architect, he decided to establish his own firm in 1985 with his partner Ar. Prakash Deshmukh in the name of SPACE DESIGNERS’ SYNDICATE.  Executed more than 1500 small and large projects in and around Pune.  Pioneer in setting trend in innovative terrace housing and neighborhood planning. He has designed innumerous housing projects, commercial complexes and institutional projects.  Architect of Life Republic, a International standard township with all comfort amenities, facilities & infrastructure, that new age professionals of Pune can proudly come home to... and many more.  At present he is handling @ 100 projects with a team of 50 personnel with him.

Early life and education

Ar. Zuber Shaikh has two brothers and 5 sisters. They had a small family business in Camp, Pune. Ar. Zuber Shaikh completed his high school from Ornellas. He loved to do drawings and sketches. He was a very brilliant & studious student. He was very good in Maths & Science also. Principal Father Fonseca always appreciated and admired Ar. Zuber Shaikh’s drawings and suggested him to go for Architecture. In 1973 he took admission in Abhinav Kala Vidyalaya. There was a time when Ar. Zuber Shaikh couldn’t meet the expenses of his Architecture therefore he had to work while learning. Through the talent of art and architecture Ar. Zuber Shaikh has climbed the success of ladder in his life. He did not have any family background in the field of architecture but he had a strong desire and support of his best friend Ar. Prakash Deshmukh. They formed their partnership firm in the name of Space Designers’ Syndicate. They have designed more than 1500 projects and megatownships like Magarpatta City, Nanded City & Life Republic to their credentials. Ar. Zuber Shaikh interprets each building like a face of human being. In our daily life we meet many people , but we remember very few people in our life time, exactly the same he thinks for each project / building design. He desires to give an impact to his project which is appreciated and remembered by his client. Everybody dreams about a house, bungalow his own space who thinks minutely about each and every space, Ar. Zuber Shaikh tries to fulfill the dreams from that end users point of view.

In 1985 he married Mrs. Tabassum Zuber Shaikh. His entire family is also connected with architecture and construction line. He has 5 sons. His elder son Ar. Imran Zuber Shaikh is continuing the legacy of architecture as his professional career. His daughter in law Mrs. Sanjida Imran Shaikh is also an Architect and Interior Designer. His 2nd Son Mr. Zafar Zuber Shaikh did his Masters in M.B.A in Marketing and Software. His 3rd Son Mr. Azhar Zuber Shaikh is into Construction line he also did his B.B.A.. His two younger son Mr. Furquan Zuber Shaikh is doing is M.B.A. and Mr. Adnan Zuber Shaikh is into Architecture Ar. Zuber Shaikh has been working as a trustee for various organizations for the upliftment of poor and needy students through education. Ar.
