SIAH is a 2020 science fiction short film directed by Don Abraham. It stars Manoj Panicker and Rinsa Jacob. The film is about a female journalist, trying to find the truth about a new artificial intelligent robot, SIAH (Simulated Intelligent Artificial Humanoid). SIAH is the first 3D CGI short film in India which is completely created using computer generated imagery.
Sohesh TS and Don Abraham wrote the screenplay back in 2014. Aby Moozhayil produced the film. Cinematographer Harish R Krishna shot it using regular DSLR camera which was later converted into 3D. Principle photography began in late December 2016 and took place in Pala (Kerala). The characters were shot in a green matte studio while the whole environment were created in CGI. Most of the visual effects were done at Exodus VFX Company along with Picstol Studio. The post production took 3 years to complete. Vishnu Shyam scored the music for the film.
