SPIDI FOUNDATION
The story of SPIDI began in the garage of Renato Dalla Grana; SPIDI founder. Like most Italian business stories, SPIDI began in 1977 with a strong passion. Renato’s passion for speed on two wheels is where he noticed a need to improve safety for riders and created the prototype of the first motorcycle glove.[1]

SPIDI has always involved designers, racers, leather artisans, stylists, engineers – the “Motorsport Lifestyle Community” - to create the most advanced collections, recognized throughout the world for the unique wealth of experience, built up over time, with almost 40 years of history. SPIDI history has been marked by many successful milestones both in racing and touring market.

OWNERSHIP[edit]

The Company is still 100% family owned, has its headquarters located in Vicenza, Italy and controls SPIDI Inc. based in Fountain Valley, California.
