Alia Shelesh,[1] also known as SSSniperWolf, is a YouTuber known for her gaming, cosplay, and reaction videos.[2] For her activities, she has been noted in print media[3] and in academic studies.[4][5]
Life and career[edit]
In 2013, she began her YouTube channel SSSniperWolf. She has over 19 million subscribers. In late 2018, she got her own emote for the video game PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds and a music video which has over one million views on YouTube. Shelesh later won the Kids Choice Awards award for "Gamer of the Year" in 2019.[6] Since 2017 her content is mainly reaction videos.[1]
On 2 May 2020, Hollywood Reporter and Variety magazine covered SSSniperWolf winning Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards as Favorite Gamer.[7]
E!Online has referred to SSSniperWolf as one of "the big names." [8]
